It was the A-R-C opener tonight at Levick Arena at Wartburg College and the Knights defeated the Norse 64-46. Luther held a 13-9 advantage after the first quarter but were outscored 23-15 in the second frame and the Knights never trailed the rest of the game. 

Luther was led by Haylie Strum who scored a game high 18 points. Lexi Thomas also tallied double figures with 12. Luther shot 32.1% for the game that included a 5-of-18 effort from behind the three-point line.

The Knights were led by the trio of Lauren Golinghorst (17), Grace Hennessy (16) and Katie Boulanger (13). The Knights shot 42.1% and out rebounded the Norse 41-30.

Luther returns to conference play this Saturday, Dec. 6, when it will host Nebraska Wesleyan University at 2 p.m.
