CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The 2025-26 Men's Basketball Preseason Poll was announced by the American Rivers Conference on Tuesday. The Norse were picked ninth.
Mark Franzen returns for his 20
th season as head coach. The Norse return seven players that played in ten or more games last season including
Andre Palavra,
Charlie Wunderlich,
Jeremy Andera,
Javier Rowell,
Jake Collis,
Yigit Yarisci and
Kyanu Simeone.
"The A-R-C has great players and coaches and we are looking forward to competing in our league this year," Franzen said.
Luther will open the 2025-26 season at home vs Macalester College on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. in Decorah, Iowa on the Birkestrand Family Court in the Gerdin Fieldhouse.
