Women's Basketball Defeats Coe On the Road

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Luther women's basketball team handed Coe their first loss in American Rivers Conference action and second of the season with a 70-58 victory. The score was tied at 28 at halftime before the Norse offense turned up the heat in the final two quarters shooting 52.9 percent from the field (18-34). Haylie Strum scored 27 points followed by Natalie Beaver with 19. 

Kailey Jones led the team in rebounds with 18. Kate Hosking had eight assists.

This was the first regular season win for the Norse in Cedar Rapids  since Nov. 22, 2022 (50-48). 

Luther is on a three-game win streak improving their record to 11-3 overall and 4-1 in the A-R-C. 

Coe drops to 12-2 overall and 4-1 in the A-R-C.
