DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther men's basketball team lost 66-44 to Nebraska Wesleyan. The Norse trailed 30-14 at halftime but slowly chipped away at the Prairie Wolves lead to start the second half. Luther pulled within two (33-35) with 11:30 to play but Nebraska Wesleyan went on a 15-0 run to maintain their lead for the rest of the game. The Prairie Wolves did most of their damage from beyond the are shooting 45.8 percent for the game (11-24) which accounted for half of the points.
Will Bockenstedt scored 16 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double with nine.
Aidan Bailey recorded 12 points.
Nebraska Wesleyan improves to 14-4 overall and 7-2 in the American Rivers Conference. The Prairie Wolves had six players score double digits and were led by Connor Brown with 23.
Luther is 1-16 overall and 0-9 in conference play.
