Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Women's Soccer Ties Nebraska Wesleyan 1-1

LINCOLN, Neb. - Sharla Hanson scored her first goal of the season as the Luther women's soccer team tied Nebraska Wesleyan 1-1 on Saturday in the American Rivers Conference opener on Saturday. The Norse are now 0-5-5 overall and 0-0-1 in the A-R-C. 

The Norse would strike first as Ava Stemler set up for the corner kick. She sent it towards the box where the ball found the feet of Hanson who knocked it into the back of the net in the 40th minute. 

Late in the second half, the Prairie Wolves responded in the 83rd minute tying the game a 1-1. In the 86th minute, Elsa Queoff came up with a save forcing the game to finish in a 1-1 draw. 

Nebraska Wesleyan is now 5-5-1 overall and 0-0-1 in the A-R-C.
