It took five sets before this non-conference match between Luther and Monmouth College was decided. The score was tied 21 ties and had 10 lead changes during the five-set match. Monmouth won set on 25-16. Luther responded with wins of 27-25, 25-17 in sets two and three. Monmouth sent the match into the fifth set after posting a 25-18 win in set four. The Fighting Scots won the match by securing a 15-8 victory in set five.

Sarina Storz once again had a huge match. She produced a match high 23 kills. Ruby Gerhard also reached double digits in this category with 12. Emma Kowalczyk dished out a match high 46 assists and Jenna Langen was credited with 33 digs, also a match high.

Stortz was named to the all-tournament team.
