DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther women's soccer team dropped the home opener to Concordia College (MN) 1-0. The Cobbers scored in the final seconds of the first half to defeat the Norse.

Queoff had four saves and
Ava Stemler led the team with three shots.
During the final seconds of the first half the Cobbers scored taking a 1-0 lead into halftime. Concordia College (MN) out shot Luther 5-1.
Luther had a stronger offensive half with Sofia
Biedermann,
Stemler and Sofia
Colavita all registering shots but nothing could get past the Cobber goalie.
Queoff came up big in the 73rd minute making a save with just her right hand keeping the Norse in it. However, there would be no comeback in this one.
Several players made their first appearance on the soccer field including
Colavita, Annabell Pollock,
Hannah Gordon.
Katelyn Lynch got her first start along with
Megan Miller.
