Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule

DECORAH, Iowa - Luther volleyball head coach Brittany Sisk announced the 2024 schedule. The Norse will play ten home matches this fall.

The first contests of the 2024 season will take place on the road in Ripon, Wis. on Aug. 30 when they'll face Illinois Institute of Technology and Ripon College at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The two-day tournament continues on Aug. 31 with matches against Marian University and Martin Luther College.

In Sept., the Norse will play 12 matches with six of them at home in Decorah. On Sept. 10, Luther welcomes UW-La Crosse and St. Mary's (MN) for a triangular. The Norse are set to play the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m.

Just three days later, a two-day tournament at Luther takes place. The tournament field includes Augsburg, Bethany Lutheran College, Bethel, and Northland. Then the Norse head on the road for the next three matches to close the month.

American Rivers Conference action begins in Oct. for Luther. The first A-R-C contest will be on the road at Coe on Oct. 1 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at 6 p.m. Later in the month, Luther faces three conference foes in a stretch of five days beginning with Buena Vista on Oct. 11, Nebraska Wesleyan on Oct. 12 and Wartburg on Oct. 15. All three matches will be at home.

To close the home portion of the schedule Luther will play against Loras on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m.

"We are looking forward to our 2024 schedule. I worked hard to not only find tough regional match-ups, but also placed importance on finding competition in areas where our current roster is from," Sisk said. "We are excited to compete in front of those who continue to support us, to show off the strides we made in this off season, and to be challenged with some very high-level competition."
