The Norse baseball team posted its fourth win in a row following a 7-5 victory over Carleton College this afternoon in Tucson, Arizona. The Norse scored once in the first, three in the third, once in the sixth and twice in the seventh to secure the victory.
Gavin Scurr and Will Heitoff led the Norse attack driving in two runs each.
Mark Prince,
Joshua Matanich, and
Garren Heinert were all credited with one RBI.
Josh Stratton was credited with the win in relief. Stratton took over for
Ryan Manternach midway through the fourth frame. Stratton allowed two runs on three hits, walked one and struck out three. Manternach pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowed three runs on six hits, walked one and also struck out three.
Blake Jondle (2) was credited with the save. He faced seven batters, allowed one hit, walked one and struck out two.

The win gives Luther an overall record of 10-4. Tomorrow they will face St. John's University at 11:30 a.m. central time.
