LINCOLN, Neb. - The Luther men's basketball team fell on the road 69-54 at Nebraska Wesleyan. The game had six ties and 10 lead changes throughout the contest. The Norse are now 0-3 in the American Rivers Conference while the Prairie Wolves improved to 1-0.
Aidan Bailey led the team with 15 points.
Luther trailed 36-28 at halftime. In the second half, Nebraska Wesleyan had a 14-point advantage (44-30) with 15:40 to play. The Norse rallied to trim the lead down to four after a three-pointer from Andera with the score at 50-46 with 9:42 remaining. However, the Prairie Wolves rebuilt their double-digit lead to win the game 69-54.
Mikkel Schutte and
Jeremy Andera each had seven points.
Yigit Yarisci led the team with six rebounds.
The Prairie Wolves out rebounded the Norse 43-35.
