KENOSHA, Wis. - The Luther women's basketball team fell on the road at Carthage College 68-57. It was a tight start to the game with the Norse keeping pace with the Firebirds. Luther went into the locker room down 29-25 at the break. Carthage outscored Luther 39-32 in the second half.
Two players were in double-figures for the Norse including
Haylie Strum with 12 points and
Kate Hosking with 11.
Kailey Jones led the team in rebounds with 12.
The Firebirds edged the Norse in rebounds 36-35 and scored 22 points off turnovers.
Carthage is now 9-2 overall while Luther drops to 8-3.
