MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - The Luther women's basketball team improved to 8-2 overall after defeating Cornell College 75-67. The Norse were in control the whole game outscoring the Rams in three of the four quarters.
Kate Hosking lead all scorers with 21 points for a career high.
Kailey Jones posted her seventh double-double of the season with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
Nastya Cicala was 5-7 from beyond the arc setting a new career high of 15 points.
Cornell was led by Erin Knowles with 20 points. The Rams scored 32 points in the paint and 25 off turnovers. Cornell is now 7-4 overall.
