DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther women's basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season with a 84-54 victory over North Central University (MN).
Kailey Jones recorded her third straight double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds.
Natalie Beaver also had a career night with her first double-double of her career with 24 points and 17 rebounds.
Haylie Strum led the team with 11 assists and three blocks.
The Norse led wire-to-wire for their third straight win as they outscored the Rams in the first, third and fourth quarters. However, in the second quarter, North Central cut the Luther advantage to just four at 27-23 with 2:35 before the break. That would be the closest the Rams would get.Â
Luther scored 31 points off turnovers, 34 in the paint and 23 from the bench. The Norse also had 13 steals and seven blocks.Â
