DECORAH, Iowa – The Luther women's soccer team dropped a midweek matchup to UW-Whitewater by 1-0. The Norse had more shots in the game with 10 but couldn't find the back of the net. The Norse are 1-2-3 overall on the season.
 
During the first half the Norse and Warhawks opening minutes both two teams were evenly matched. Luther made attempts at goal with five shots in the period but they were stopped by the goalie from Whitewater. With two minutes left to go in the first half the Warhawks had a one-two pass to score the game's first goal.
 
In the second half Luther had six corner kicks and several good looks but none could just get past the keeper of Whitewater. Vavrichek made a critical save in the half but in the end the Warhawks took the victory 1-0.
