In the second game of the doubleheader Aiden Michna broke the 2-2 tie with his single the put the Norse back on top en route to victory.

GAME 1: Norse (4), Kohawks(1)
Luther brought in the first runs of the game thanks to runner on the base paths due to a walk. Noah Sebben (Moline, Ill. / Moline) hit a sac fly into right field and Stamp came home to score the first run for the Norse. Charlie Rubendall (Minneapolis, Minn. / DeLaSalle) reached on an error, stole second and advanced to third on wild pitch. With two outs Joshua Matanich RBI single giving Rubendall a chance to score.

The Luther defense and Nick Dufoe (Adel, Iowa / Adel-DeSoto-Minburn) on the mound kept the Kohawks off the board until the bottom of the fourth inning. Coe found a way to get one back but the Norse stopped the momentum to maintain the 2-1 lead.

After the response from the Kohawks the Norse put up two more runs in the top of the fifth. Sebben singled to the third base side. Then Rubendall reached first on an error from the shortstop putting runners in scoring position. Aiden Michna (Moline, Ill. / Moline) hit the first double of the game for Luther bringing the lead to 4-1.
