DECORAH, Iowa - The Luther volleyball team closed the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) regular season with a loss to Simpson 3-0 (13-25, 13-25, 20-25). With the loss the Norse are 9-20 overall and 1-7 in A-R-C play.
Sarina Stortz led the offense with eight kills while hitting .368 followed by
Emily Hagen with six hitting .333 in the contest.
On the defensive side of things Hagen and
Jenna Langen each had tallied five digs.
In the third and final set the Norse climbed out a of hole pulling within five points at 15-20. Luther kept fighting as the set neared the end with kills from Hagen, Stortz and
Lindsay Hanson. However, in the end the Storm swept the Norse 3-0.
Luther falls to 9-20 overall and 1-7 in the A-R-C.
