The 2023 American Rivers Conference Cross Country Championships were held today in Pella, Iowa. A total of 204 competitors completed the 8K course located on the campus of Central College. Wartburg College captured its sixth consecutive league title posted 27 points. Central was second with 63 and Loras finished third with 76. Luther finished fifth posting 138 points.
Adam Koller led the Norse with an all-conference performance. Koller finished 15th overall clocked at 25:47.7. For the first time this year the top-20 finishers were awarded all-conference honors. This is the first time Koller has earned this award.
Completing the top-five for the Norse included
Kaeden Fellingham (25th - 26:08.9),
Benjamin Gillikin (33rd - 26:24.1),
Justin Reinhart (38th - 26:36.8), and
Noah Carey (57th - 27:11.6).
Christian Montover (59th - 27:12.2) and
Michel Heinrich (65th - 27:19.6) rounded out the top-seven.

The next varsity competition for the Norse will be the NCAA III Midwest Regional that will be hosted by Wartburg College on Saturday Nov. 11. The men's race will begin at 11:00 a.m.
On Friday, Nov. 4, Luther will host the annual Saga Cup with a start time slated for 4:15 p.m.
