DE PERE, WIS. – From the very beginning the game went back and fourth between the teams as they exchanged goals throughout the contest. Luther got on the board first in the 23
rd minute for the lone goal in the first half of play. The second half saw three goals that would see the game end in a 2-2 draw.
CHESS MATCH
Once again, the Norse would go on top of their opponents for the second game in a row.
Javier Pastor Valls (Mutxamel, Spain / The Kiski School (PA) drilled a free kick into the upper left corner for a 1-0 lead for his first goal of the season. But it was St. Norbert who was putting the pressure on offensively in the first half with 5 shots compared to the Luther 3.
The Knights would even things up with a penalty kick goal from Caden Etzel for a 1-1 tie in the first 12 minutes of the second half. However, the Norse would pull back in front with goal from Luiz Oliviera (Salvador, Brazil / Montverde Academy (FL) who slipped it low after a great pass from
Ethan Ducklow (Carver, Minn. / Chaska) that threaded two defenders. But eight minutes later St. Norbert wasn't going away just yet as once again the teams were locked up in a 2-2 battle. The final whistle blew ending the game in a draw.
Luther stays undefeated on the season going 1-0-1 after a day that saw the offense with 9 shots with 7 of them being on goal compared to the Knights 7 shots and 3 on goal.

- Sophomore Javier Pastor Valls (Mutxamel, Spain / The Kiski School (PA) scored for the Norse in the 23rd minute and also had four shots, three of which were on goal.
- Senior Luiz Oliviera (Salvador, Brazil / Montverde Academy (FL) scored his second goal of the 2022 season in just 20 minutes of play.
