Luther improved to 15-9 following a 7-2 home victory over Concordia University (WI) this morning. The Norse won all but one match in singles and posted two wins in doubles.
Ana Olimpio and
Sofia Sackett battled to a (8-7 (7-2)) win over Mia Andrae and Cheyanne Phillips at No. 2 doubles. The duo is now 13-4 for the year.
Lexi Hastings and
Natalia Smith posted an (8-3) victory over Elizabeth Johnson and Mallory Moen at No. 3.
All five singles victories were decided in straight sets.
Renata Martinez won at No. 2 (7-5, 6-1);
Julia Moreno won at No. 3 (6-0, 6-4);
Shelby Cook won at No. 4 (6-1, 6-4); Smith won at No. 5 (6-4, 6-3); and Olimpio won at No. 6 (6-0, 6-1).
