Luther hosted the University of Dubuque tonight and was defeated by the Spartans 67-50. Dubuque entered the game atop the A-R-C standings and improved to 10-2 in league play. The Spartans never trailed and shot 53% from the field. Luther was 34% from the field that included a 6-of-26 effort from behind the three-point line.
Eros Carpio came off the bench and led the Norse in scoring with 10 points.
Ben Gill was next with eight and
Randall Days had seven.
The Spartans were led by Peter Ragen with 17 and Jaylin McCants with 16.
The loss gives Luther an A-R-C record of 4-9, 7-14.
Luther returns to action at home on Wednesday when it will host Loras College at 7:30 p.m.
