The NCAA III Lower Midwest Region Wrestling Championships were held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 25-26 at the Five Flags Center, Dubuque, Iowa.

The Norse had seven wrestlers place in the top-8 of their respective weight class en route to a team finish of seventh. There were 18 teams in the regional field.The Norse tallied (76.5) points. Wartburg College won the team title (158.5), followed by Loras College (149.5), Coe College (148.5), North Central (143), Millikin University (116) and Central College (97.5).

Donovan Corn (197) will be making his first trip to the NCAA III National Wrestling Championships after placing second at 197. Corn, ranked No. 6 in the nation, faced No. 2 Cody Baldridge fo North Central College in the title bout and lost in sudden victory (2-1).

The NCAA III National Championships will take place at the U.S. Cellular Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa Mar. 12-13.
