Biography

2023-24: Chavez returned for a fifth season where he finished the year with a 16-15 record along with one fall, five major decisions and four tech falls. He finishes his career with a 72-52 record with 13 falls. 

2022-23: Chavez finished his fourth season with a 16-19 record. He was sixth at the Lower Midwest Regionals. 

2021-22: In his third season he finished the season with a 17-7 record with four wins by fall, one by major decision and one tech fall. 

2020-21: As a sophomore he posted a record of 9-3 picking up three wins by fall and one by tech fall. He earned NWCA DIII All-American Honors after placing sixth at the NWCA DIII National Tournament. 

2019-20: As a freshman, he had a record of 16-8 with five wins by fall, one major decision and one by tech fall. 

High School: While at Lakota East High School he was a four-year letter winner and posted a record of 125-35. He earned Greater Miami Conference all-conference honors and was also a three-time member of the Ohio National Team where he finished second in the state freestyle. 

Personal: Son of Vanessa Paz.
