Luther finished the regular season schedule at the University of Dubuque this afternoon. The Norse held a four-point lead at halftime, but went ice cold in the final two frames and were defeated by the Spartans 57-44. The Norse shot 18% in the second half and were outscored by the Spartans 31-14.

Kailey Jones led the Norse with a double-double. Jones had 10 points and collected a game high 13 rebounds. Megan Miller also had 10 points, while both Jordan Rubie and Kristin Elliott were credited with seven each.

The Spartans were led by Tabria Thomas who led all scorers with 18. Allison Bailey also reached double digits with 13.

Luther finished the regular season with an A-R-C record of 6-10, 9-16 overall. Dubuque is now 9-7, 15-10.

These two teams will face each other in the first round of the six-team A-R-C Tournament that will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Dubuque secured the No. 4 seed of the tournament and Luther is the No. 5 seed. Start time will be 7:00 p.m.
