Luther put together one of its best offensive first halves of the season in Lincoln, Nebraska, jumping out to an 18-16 lead over the Nebraska-Wesleyan after the first 10 minutes of play. The Norse scoring efforts continued in the second, as eight different players scored at least a basket in the first half, helping Luther secure a 35-28 halftime lead. Jordan Rubie (Winona, Minn. / Cotter), Kailey Jones (Avoca, Iowa / AHSTW) and Chelin Isaacson (Superior, Colo. / Monarch) combined to score 18 of the Norse 38 first half points, while Grave Prokosch (Maplewood, Minn. / Hill-Murray) led with four rebounds.

Luther continued to pound the pavement and score in the second half, as the Norse once again outscored the Prairie Wolves by a significant margin in the third quarter. Luther outscored Nebraska-Wesleyan 12-9 in the third, extending its lead to 42-37. However, it was the fourth quarter where the Norse offense truly came to life. By roughly the three minute mark, the Norse were in full control of the game, as they led 60-44 with 2:44 remaining in regulation.
