Luther College

2023-24: Kauls played in 26 games while starting in 24. She finished second on the team in rebounds with 139 averaging 5.3 per game and sixth on the team in points with 156. She also recorded 31 assists, 20 steals and eight blocks. Kauls finishes her career with 647 points, 633 rebounds, 116 assists, 74 steals and 42 blocks. She ranks sixth all-time in rebounds. Kauls also earned her second straight CSC Academic All-District honors. 

2022-23: Named honorable mention all-conference. She appeared and started all 25 games, averaging 9.8 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 47 percent. She finished the season with 255 points, 214 rebounds, a team-leading 28 steals and 16 blocks. Named academic all-conference and was also named first-team academic all-district.

2021-22: Co-captain who started all 27 games. She scored 163 points, collected 208 rebounds and had 13 blocked shots. Named academic all-conference. 

2020-21: Appeared in nine games during the COVID shortened season and made eight starts. She scored 68 total points and tallied 59 rebounds, eight assists, four blocks and nine steals. Named the team's Most Improved Player and earned academic all-conference honors. 

2019-20: Appeared in seven games for the Norse. 

High School: Kauls put together an impressive resume at Mounds View High School, as she earned four letters in basketball, two in track and one in cross country. As a basketball player, Kauls was a Suburban East Conference all-conference selection in basketball and was named the Mustangs Defensive Player of the Year and Most Improved. As a member of the cross country and track and field teams, Kauls qualified for the Minnesota 2A State Championships and earned Academic All-State honors. Member of the National Honors Society.
