DUBUQUE, IOWA – The Luther offense was shut out on the road at Loras 2 to 0 in an A-R-C conference game.
BACK ON THEIR HEELS
There's a reason Loras is ranked number 23 in the country and that's their offense. The Luther defense did the best they could. The Duhawks couldn't be stopped as they rattled off 14 shots in the first half alone. Senior goalkeeper
Irelyn Baumberger (Evansville, Wis./Evansville) did the best she could and had seven saves in the first 45 minutes. Ryleigh O'Brien the top scorer for Loras scored in the 32
nd minute to take a one goal lead.
In the second half Luther made adjustments but in the 52
nd minute it was O'Brien again for her second goal of the game.
Emma Lin (Des Moines, Iowa/Roosevelt),
Maggie Haller (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle) and
Rose Sieve (Apple Valley, Minn./Rosemount) had shots but, in the end Loras was there to take care of business to stay unbeaten this season. Luther drops to 1-1-1 in conference play and 5-4-3 overall.

- Junior Maggie Haller (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle) and Senior Rose Sieve (Apple Valley, Minn./Rosemount) had two shots each for the Luther offense.
