GRINNELL, IOWA – It was a back and fourth battle for the two teams as they traded goals throughout the game in the 2-2 draw.

Coming off the win yesterday the Norse were still looking for their first road victory of the season traveling to Grinnell for a non-conference game. And things looked good early as the Norse scored in the first three minutes of play. Cassiah James (Evansville, Wis./Evansville) found the back of the net for the first time this season with an assist from Emily Groppoli (Mendota Heights, Minn./Visitation). Luther held on to the one goal lead heading into the half.
 
In the second half things were far from over. Just six minutes into the half Jill Paladino responded for the Pioneers tying the game at one. But the Norse offense said not for long as Maggie Haller (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle) scored her sixth goal of the season unassisted to take back the lead in the 54^th minute. Then in the 76^th minute Grinnell would tie it up at two goals apiece with goal from Jane March. The Norse attempted shots late but none found the back of the net in the draw.

•  Sophomore Cassiah James (Evansville, Wis./Evansville) scored her first of the season and first career goal.   
• Junior Maggie Haller (Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle) leads the team with six total goals on the season for two points.
• Sophomore Ken Vavrichek (Bloomington, Minn./The Blake School) had three saves in the game and has a 4-1-2 record on the season.
