Luther was defeated by Buena Vista University 63-48 in Storm Lake this afternoon. The Beavers held a 42-27 halftime lead and never trailed after taking a 13-10 lead four minutes in to the first half. The loss drops Luther's overall record in the A-R-C to 2-7, 5-12 overall.

The Norse were led by Randall Days who came off the bench to score 11 points. Ben Gill was next with 10 points, and Aiden Bailey finished with nine.

The Beavers were led by Jake Thompson who produced a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds, both game highs. He was the lone Beaver to tally double digits this afternoon.

Luther will return to action at home on Monday, Jan. 31 when it will host Simpson College at 7:30 p.m.
