Luther exploded for three goals in the last half en route to a 4-1 victory over Knox College this afternoon in the valley. The Norse had 16 shots and placed 10 on goal.

Will Overberg had another big match producing four points, increasing his season total to 12. He scored the first goal of the match, his fifth of the year, at 22:09 assisted by Faydane Ouro-Akondo. Early in the second half, Marcos Vila (3) found the back of the net off a cross by Overberg at 46:56.  Five minutes later, William Valentine (2) sent a shot to the lower left corner of the Prairie Fire net assisted by Overberg at 51:32. Ouro-Akondo (1) completed the evenings scoring with a penalty kick at 81:13.

The Priaire Fires lone goal came at 62:52 by Alex White assisted by Calvin Baker.

The win gives Luther a record of 3-0. Knox fell to 1-2.

The Norse will return to action this Friday, Sept. 10, when they will host St. Norbert College at 5:30 p.m.
