Luther battled back from a 1-0 deficit at halftime to secure a 2-1 overtime victory over St. Norbert College tonight in the valley.

The Green Knights Mitchell Scholz drove in a shot from above the box into the upper corner of the Norse net at 23:53. It was his third of the year.

Faydane Ouro Akondo tied the match at 55:19 assisted by Will Overberg and Armondo Jenkins-Vazquez. The goal was his second of the year.

Four minutes into overtime, Ouro Akondo scored the game winner off a cross by Overberg that secured the come-from-behind victory.

The win keeps Luther undefeated at 4-0. St. Norbert fell to 1-2-1.

Luther returns to action tomorrow when it will host Gustavus Adolphus College at 3:00 p.m.
