Luther traveled to UW-Stevens Point tonight for the final non-conference game before the American Rivers Conference schedule begins on Tuesday, Nov. 23. The Pointers defeated the Norse 70-46. The Norse trailed the Pointers by one (15-14) after the first quarter, but were outscored 55-32 in the final three frames.

Kristen Elliott led the Norse attack with nine points. Megan Miller and Kailey Jones were next with eight and Lizzie Kauls chipped in seven. Jones and Kauls controlled the boards collecting 11 and 10 respectively.

The Pointers Jamie Pfeifer led all scorers with 20 points. Taylor Greenheck and Jessica Slowik also reached double digits with 14 and 10 respectively.

The loss gives Luther an overall record of 1-4. UW-Stevens Point improved to 4-1.

Luther will host Coe College for the A-R-C opener for both teams on the 23rd. Start time is slated for 5:30 p.m.
