George joined the Norse for the 2025 season. A 2001 graduate from the University of Minnesota Duluth, George was a two-time Northern Sun Intercollegiate Coference (NSIC) all-conference honoree (2019, 2021) for the Bulldogs. He was also named to the all-defensive team (2021).
He transferred to South Dakota State University and played in 2022 while completing his M.S. in Sports and Recreation Administration.
Currently, he is an independent professional baseball player for the Northern Colorado Owlz in the Pioneer League. In 2023 he was named to the Pioneer League Midseason All-Star team.
He has previously coached as a graduate assistant at South Dakota State (2022-23) and as an assistant coach at Ellsworth Community College (2023-24).
