Billy Huebner

The 2025-26 season will be Coach Huebner's 17th year as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

Coach Billy Huebner is a professional and dedicated coach. Huebner has coached on nine NCAA trophy teams, six have placed in the top-four and three placed top-two at the National Tournament. Also, he has coached on 12 Consecutive WIAC Championships. Additionally, has coached 82 NCAA Division III All-Americans.
 
Huebner has recruited and shaped many student athlete’s lives from all over the country in his time as a coach. Also, Huebner has run close to 500 wrestling clinics at high schools across the country, as far as Arizona, California and Louisiana has worked technique for all ages/skill levels. He started the unique Big Man on Campus Technique Camp and played an integral part in help start the nationally known Luther College Open.
 
Coach Huebner is promoter of Luther College and Decorah, Iowa. Where ever he travels he always proudly boast's and believes Decorah is one of the best towns in the United States and that Luther College is one of the best campuses in Iowa. 

Huebner is a Political Science graduate of University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He received his Master's from Winona State University (MN) in Professional Development. Also he served honorably in the United States Military serving tours in the Middle East/South West Asia.  Huebner grew up in the farmlands of Central Wisconsin in Potato/Cranberry country.

As a coach, Huebner is looking for athletes that are good at listening, learning and also have that discipline and dedication mind set.
