Biography

2023-24: Wrestling at 197, he finished his senior year with a 17-15 record posting six wins by fall and two by major decision. Over his career he had 51 wins and 16 falls. 

2022-23: Steenhoek started the year with fifth place finish at the Pointer Open and sixth at the Augsburg Open in the gold division. He was also sixth at the Cornell Invite and won the title at the Dubuque Invite. Overall, for his third season he had a 19-16 record. 

2021-22: As a sophomore, he posted a record of 12-12 including three wins by fall and one by tech fall. 

2020-21: In his first season he had a 3-7 record. 

High School: Steenhoek was three-year letter winner while at Gilbert High School. He won a conference and sectional championship for the Tigers. 

Personal: Son of Chad and Wendy Steenhoek.
