Biography
2022-23: In her final season with the Norse, Clausen compiled a combined singles and doubles record of 5-4, including a 5-2 match in singles play. She was 2-0 in A-R-C matches, serving as Luther's No. 4 and 5 singles player in two separate conference matches. She additionally earned A-R-C Fall All-Academic Team honors for the third time in her career. She additionally was a member of both the A-R-C Regular Season Championship and A-R-C NCAA Qualifier Tournament Championship teams.Â
2021-22: As a junior, Clausen earned Academic All-Conference and ITA All-Scholar Athlete honors for her performances both on and off the tennis court. She additionally was a part of the A-R-C Regular Season Championship and A-R-C NCAA Qualifier Tournament Championship teams.Â
2020-21: As a sophomore, Clausen was both an Academic All-Conference honoree and ITA All-Scholar Athlete. She additionally helped the Norse win both the A-R-C Regular Season Championship and A-R-C NCAA Qualifier Tournament Championship teams.Â
2019-20: As a first year, Clausen helped Luther win the A-R-C Regular Season Championship and A-R-C NCAA Qualifier Tournament Championship teams.
High School: While at Stewartville High School, Clausen was a four-year letter winner in tennis and also earned the honor as a member of the track and field team. A Hiawatha Valley all-conference performer on the tennis court, she was ranked No. 3 at No. 1 singles in section play. Clausen was two-time winner of Stewartville's Leadership Award and once was named team MVP. She competed in the regional tournament four times, and she competed at the Adidas Elite Meet in the 1600 meter run. Off the court, Clausen was the class Valedictorian and a member of the National Honor Society.
