Biography

2023-24: Sackett is now a four time all-conference honoree in both singles and doubles. She becomes the third in program history in singles and fifth in doubles to achieve the feat since the all-conference selections were decided by the coaches. At the A-R-C Individual tournament she finished third in flight "A" doubles with Natalia Smith. This season she was 14-10 in singles matches and 20-13 in doubles. Over her career she recorded a record of 54-38 in singles and 57-46 in doubles. Academically, she is a three-time A-R-C Fall All-Academic team and a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. Sackett was also a Chi Alpha Sigma honor society inductee. 

2022-23: Sackett put had a breakout season with the Norse, earning a slew of honors for her performances both on and off the court. She earned First Team All-Conference honors in doubles and singles play, becoming a three-time All-Conference recipient in both categories. As the No 3 singles player and member of the No. 1 doubles team, Sackett posted a combined record of 8-1 against A-R-C opponents, going 4-0 in singles play and 4-1 in doubles. The junior joins former standouts Jackie Cychosz, Britta Pressler and Shelby Cook as the only players in Luther history to earn three All-Conference honors in both doubles and singles play and is just the fifth three-time All-Conference singles player in program history. Sackett additionally won Silver Medalist honors in both the A-Singles and Doubles competition at the 2022 A-R-C Individual Championships. During the spring season, Sackett earned First Team Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) and served as Luther's No. 1, 2 and 3 singles player throughout the 2022-23 season, posting a 17-9 record with a 15-8 mark in dual match play. She additionally earned her second Academic All-Conference honoree. 

High School: While at Dowling Catholic High School, Sackett lettered four times in tennis and once as a member of the volleyball team. During her career, she helped the Maroons to three state tournaments, placing second (2017), fourth (2018) and third (2019). Her senior year the season was canceled due to COVID-19, though Sackett placed third at the individual state tournament as a junior in 2019. Off the court, she was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Sackett is the daughter of Christopher and Patricia Sackett.
