Biography

2022-23: Hastings became just the fourth four-time All-Conference honoree in doubles play in Norse history. As a senior, Hastings posted an impressive 5-0 overall record in doubles play during the fall season, with three wins coming against A-R-C opponents. Hastings made appearances in all three doubles spots for Luther, earning wins as a member of the No. 1, 2 and 3 doubles teams during the conference schedule. In the final A-R-C Individual Championship of her career, Hastings and partner Abby Struble (Clinton, Iowa / Clinton) made an impressive run through the A-Doubles tournament, earning Bronze Medalist honors with an 8-7 (7-4) win in the third place match. She additionally earned wins over Dubuque, Nebraska-Wesleyan, Central and Coe during the regular season and posted a 4-0 record with Struble as her partner. At the conclusion of the spring season, Hastings earned a combined record of 17-8, which included a 13-7 mark in doubles play. 

2021-22: Hastings earned All-Conference honors for the third consecutive season after another impressive season on the court. As a junior, Hastings posted a 8-1 record in singles play in 2021-22 with a 14-12 mark in doubles play. She additionally went 6-0 in doubles play vs. A-R-C opponents to earn All-Conference honors. 

2020-21: As a sophomore, Hastings once again earned All-Conference honors in doubles play after improving her career doubles record to 20-9 with a 15-7 mark in singles play. 

2019-20: After an impressive first year with the Norse, Hastings earned All-Conference honors in doubles play. As a consistent member of the line up, she helped Luther win both the A-R-C Regular Season and Conference Tournament titles. 

High School: A four-year letter winner in tennis while at Menomonie High School, Hastings earned Big Rivers Conference All-Conference honors and was crowned champion of the sectional tournament. As a senior, Hastings advanced to the Wisconsin Division I State Tournament where she placed eighth as an individual. She also lettered three years in basketball, and played on Mustangs teams that won sectional titles in 2017 and 2018 and finished as the sectional runner-up in 2019. Off the court, Hastings was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Hastings is the daughter of Jeff and Wendy Hastings.
