Karyea joined the staff in the summer of 2024. A 2016 graduate of Dakota Wesleyan University (S.D), he has been the head coach of girls soccer at West Salem High School (WI) for the past seven years (2018-24). He led the Panthers to a record of 81-31-4 was named the Mississippi Valley Conference Coach of the Year (2022).
Since 2020, he was also the assistant women's soccer coach at Viterbo University (WI). During the summer months, he was the assistant Director of Coaching for both the boys and girls of the Mississippi Valley Storm, based in La Crescent, Minn.
While playing at Dakota Wesleyan, twice he was named all-conference and the Tigers Defensive Player of the Year.
