Coach Whiles joined the Norse in June 2025 and enters his first season. A native of Wolverhampton, England, Brad brings a wealth of experience from both the U.S. and U.K. soccer scenes.
He previously served as an Assistant Coach at Emmanuel University, where he helped guide the team to the Conference Carolinas regional playoffs. Most recently, Brad coached at Earlham College as an Assistant Coach while earning his Master’s in Education in Teaching. In recognition of his contributions, he was named Earlham College's Assistant Coach of the Year in 2023.
In 2022, Brad returned to England to coach the Stourbridge FC First-Team Women, a semi-professional side competing in the Women’s National League. Under his leadership, the team won the Tier 4 title, earning a historic promotion to Tier 3—the club’s first ever. They went on to compete against well-established teams such as Wolves, Leeds United, Peterborough, and Northampton.
As a collegiate player, Brad represented Sheridan College, University of Mary, and Northland College. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Humanities with a minor in Sports Management. His on-field success included being a two-time All-Conference selection, helping Sheridan reach its first-ever regional final in 2018, and leading Northland College to its most successful season in program history, with back-to-back playoff appearances. Before College, Whiles represented the Wolverhampton Wanderers Futsal team and was recognized Player of the Year 2016.
Brad has also contributed to the development of youth and amateur players through coaching roles at Sheridan Storm, Dakota United, and Brookland FC. He gained further experience with Soccer Star Coaching (UK) and Soccer Evolution. He holds a BTEC Level 3 qualification in Sport and Exercise and earned his USSF National D License in 2022.
