Biography

2023: Crown went out with a bang, earning First Team All-Conference, First Team Academic All-District and NFCA Third Team All-Region honors for the first time in her career. As a senior, Crown appeared and started all 43 games for Luther and hit .313, with 42 hits in 132 at bats for the Norse. Of her 42 hits, 18 were for extra bases, as Crown slugged a career-high .537 during the regular season and tallied 72 total bases. Thanks to her performance in the NCAA Regional, Crown concluded the season with a team-leading 32 RBI and hit four of her 11 doubles in the final three games of her career. 

2022: As a junior, Crown appeared in 29 games and made 27 starts in the outfield. Of her six hits during the season, five were for extra bases, as Crown hit two doubles and three home runs during the season with 10 RBIs and 17 total bases. In the field, she recorded 27 putouts in 28 chances and committed just one error. Crown was named to the All-Academic and NFCA/Easton Scholar Athlete teams at the conclusion of the season. 

2021: As a sophomore, Crown earned Academic All-Conference honors and was named an NFCA/Easton Scholar Athlete. She appeared in 23 games and made nine starts in the outfield, tallying five hits and five RBI during the season. 

2020: Crown appeared in one game during the COVID shortened season. 

High School: Crown was a multi-year letter winner in softball and volleyball during her prep career, leading Central's teams to two conference championships apiece. In 2019, Crown led the Raiders softball team to their first ever Minnesota State Tournament and State Championship game appearance. Twice, she earned All-Conference honors and was an Academic All-State honoree. Crown was also a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Crown is the daughter of Brian and Kari Crown.
