Biography
2022: He set the third fastest time in the 3200-meter run with a time of 9:20.38. He also holds the school record indoors in the 3000 at 8:32.67. At the outdoor conference championship he was 7th in the 10,000 and eighth in the 5000.Â
2021: As a junior he finished 13th in the 5000 at the outdoor conference championship.Â
2020: Ran in three meets for the Norse and posted two top-ten finishes with one in the mile and one in the 3000-meter run.Â
2019: He earned all-conference honors outdoors by placing second in the 5000-meter run which ranks third on Luther's all-time list (14:44.13). He was third in the 3000 at the indoor conference championship.Â
Other Sports: Altier is also a member of the Luther cross country team.Â
High School: At Johnston High School he was a four-year letter winner as a member of the cross country team and three-year member of the track and field team. He helped lead the Dragons to a district cross country title during his career. In track he was crowned a conference and district champion and finished his career with his name etched atop the record books in the 1600. He earned all-conference, all-state and academic all-state honors in both sports.Â
