2022-23: In his first fall with the Norse, Kuehnelt finished fourth at the A-R-C Championships in "A" singles, falling to teammate Filipe Biscaro in the third place match. He additionally advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Midwest Regional Singles Tournament. During the spring season, Kuehnelt was one of three freshmen to earn All-Conference honors, earning the conference's top honor for his singles play in 2023. As Luther's No. 5 singles player, Kuehnelt was 12-8 in during the regular season, which included a 4-0 record in A-R-C play. Additionally, the freshman was instrumental in the Norse A-R-C NCAA Qualifying Tournament victories, earning key wins in both the semifinal and championship matches. Kuehnelt's 6-2, 6-3 win over Kyle Sehlin secured Luther's semifinal win over Wartburg on April 27 before he won one of two singles matches to help the Norse secure a 5-0 win over Coe in the championship.
