Biography

2022-23: Dorans competed in all five events during the fall season, posting a scoring average of 76.8. His low round of the fall came at the WLC Fall Invitational where he posted two rounds of 71 (-1) to win the tournament as an individual. The individual win was Dorans' second in his career as a member of the Norse Men's Golf team. During the spring season, Dorans' closed his Luther career by earning All-Conference honors at the A-R-C Championships, finishing in eighth with a three-round score of 234. The senior additionally competed in the NCAA Championships, concluding his Norse career with a two-round score of 155 at the tournament. 

2021-22: Dorans competed in ten events, posting a scoring average of 77.1. His low round of the year came at WLC Fall Invitational, where he posted a 69 (-3). Dorans had two top-5 finishes at the MSOE Invitational and the Loras Spring Invitational. He finished T18th the A-R-C Championships. Dorans was once again named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar for the second time. 

2020-21: Dorans competed in nine events with a scoring average of 77.1. He had five top-5 finishes, with his low round of the year coming at the Luther Triangular, where he posted a 69 (-3) and was the individual medalist. He finished 22nd at the A-R-C Championships. Dorans was also named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar.

2019-20: Dorans competed in all five events for the Norse, posting a scoring average of 79.5. The Spring season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

High School: While at Barrington High School he earned All-Conference honors. He played on a Broncos team that claimed a Regional Championship and finished in 7th place at the Illinois State Golf Championships. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Dorans is the son of Tom and Debbie.
