Two-time A-R-C Fall Sports All-Academic Team honoree (3.5 GPA or higher)…while at Decorah High School he was a three-year letter winner in cross country and four-year letter winner in track…twice he was a Northeast Iowa Conference all-conference performer in cross country…he also earned all-district honors…helped lead Vikings to a third place finish at the Iowa 3A State Cross Country Championships (2017)…he also earned all-conference honors in track…named academic all-conference and academic all-state in both sports…class Valedictorian…son of Brad and Lori Phillips.
