Luther College

2023-24: Carpio played in 23 games. This season he set a new career-high of 13 points against Grinnell on November 8, 2023. He recorded 89 points, 45 rebounds, 11 assists, three blocks and two steals. 

2022-23: As a sophomore, Carpio appeared in 22 games. He scored 65 points, including a career-high 11 in the Norse season opening win over Grinnell. Carpio closed the season with 34 rebounds, eight assists, seven steals and 10 blocks. 

2021-22: As a first year, Carpio appeared in 21 games with three starts. He scored 97 total points and pulled in 32 rebounds, tallied 15 assists, five blocks and eight steals. 

High school: Carpio was a four-year letter winner during his prep career at Pine Crest and was a member of two 4A District Championship teams. In 2020-21, Carpio led the Panthers to a state championship and earned all-conference honorable mention honors. Off the court, he was a member of the Spanish Honor Society.

Personal: Carpio chose Luther for its beautiful campus and educational opportunities. He plans to major in psychology and is the son of Adolfo and Jennifer Carpio.
