Biography

2022-23: In his fourth season he had a 16-14 record. Martinez  finished sixth at the Luther Open in the elite division, fourth at the Augsburg Open in the gold division and was fifth at the Don Parker Invitational.

2021-22: As a junior, he had a 12-14 record with four of his wins by fall and two by major decision. 

2020-21: He was 2-5 in his second season with the Norse with both wins coming by fall. 

2019-20: In his first season in a Norse uniform he was 9-6 including six wins by fall, one by major decision and one by tech fall. 

High School: Martinez was a four-year letter winner while at Dumas High School. He recorded over 150 career wins during his career and was a three-time all-state honoree. He was also a two-time Texas State Tournament finalist and a member of the Team Texas National Team. He placed first in the state in freestyle and second in Greco Roman competitions and a member of the National Honor Society. 

Personal: Son of Oscar and Connie Martinez.
