WAVERLY, Iowa – The Luther men's golf team finished 10
th as a team at the Wartburg Fall Invite at the Prairie Links Golf Course. The teams played one round on Saturday, Sept. 26 before rain overnight on the course caused Sunday's second round to be canceled.
Owen King finished in the top-20 to be the top finisher for the Norse (T20th – 73). He was followed by
Pedro Pelicioni (T41st – 76),
Garett Sperber (T41st – 76),
Logan Schurke (T46th – 77), and
Max Brook (75
th – 82).
Leo Koester led the "B" team (T35th – 75),
Luke Sunnarborg (T51st – 78), Ben Christensen (T58th – 79),
Pieter Rippentrop (T58th – 79), and Alex Wold (T69th – 81).
The Norse are back on the course at the Twin Cities Classic hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College Saturday, Oct. 3 through Monday, Oct. 5. Each day will be played on the different course starting with the Elk River Golf Club (Elk River, Minn.), Le Sueuer Country Club (Le Sueur, Minn.) and at the Minnesota Valley Country Club (Bloomington, Minn.).
