HILBERT, Wis. - The Luther College women's soccer team has been ranked fifth in the 2026 Midwest Conference Coaches' Preseason Poll with 46 points.
In 2025, the Norse concluded the season with an overall record of 7-9-2 and a conference record of 3-4-1 in the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C). Their performance earned them a sixth-place finish in the A-R-C and a spot in the conference tournament, where they lost in overtime 2-1 to Simpson College.
Key players returning for the Norse include
Riley Anderson, a senior defender who was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region IX Fourth Team and the A-R-C All-Conference team. Additionally, forward
Kate Van Deventer, who received an honorable mention in the all-conference selections, will continue to be a pivotal presence on the field. Head coach
Hollie Gray III enters his sixth season.
The Norse will kick off their 2026 campaign at home against Bethany Lutheran College. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 1, with a 5 p.m. kickoff in Decorah, Iowa.
