CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Gerardo Ramirez Mainou and Abby Ostermann were named the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Tennis Performers of the Week.

Ramirez Mainou won both his matches last week helping the Norse clinch at least a share of the regular season conference title. He defeated Riley Voss of Nebraska Wesleyan University (6-1, 6-0). Then against Coe he beat Daniel Rohlman (3-6, 7-5, 6-4). The Luther men's tennis team defeated Nebraska Wesleyan 6-1 and no. 52 Coe 4-3.
 
Ostermann was 2-2 in the week as the Norse women's tennis team closed out the regular season. She lost at no. 3 doubles and no. 1 singles in the match at no. 33 University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Wednesday, April 15. Then Ostermann rebounded picking up wins at no. 3 doubles paired with Liselot van Den Broek as they defeated Natasha Gauerke and Maitreyi Shrikhande of Augustana College (IL) (6-2). At no. 1 singles, she defeated Hannah Colber 4-6, 6-2, 10-7.
