The Luther women's track and field team had a busy weekend. On Friday, the distance runners went to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for the 5000-meter run. Then on Saturday, the throwers were was the Manitou Classic hosted by St. Olaf College and the rest of the team was at the Gene Glader Invitational hosted by Bethel University. The meets at St. Olaf and Bethel had to be shortened due to the weather.
Eleanor Lefort set a new school record for the hammer throw her mark of 168' 2" breaks Amanda Dunn's record of 165' 7" set in 2014. She won the event at the Gene Glader Invitational on Saturday.
